Accreditation
Stanford Home for Children is accredited by the California Alliance of Child and Family Services (CACFS) a statewide association of more than 200 private non-profit agencies.The member agencies of the California Alliance share a commitment to excellence and strive to improve the quality of care and services provided to at-risk children and families. This is demonstrated through commitment to a professional standards accreditation process and operation of a staff training and educational program for practitioners in the field.
Stanford Home for Children is required to meet the standards of excellence called for by the CACFS accreditation standards. The standards were developed by professionals with formal educational qualifications and direct field experience in the administration of programs for at-risk children and their families.
