Description: Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology with MFT or LCSW license or license eligibility OR

  • Master's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of approved experience* OR

  • Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 4 years of approved experience*

* experience must qualify the applicant for Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) status in the Sacramento County Children's Mental Health System of Care.

Job Description:

The JJCP Facilitator/Practitioner prepares and facilitates Evidence-Based, Cognitive Behavioral skill-building groups in anger management, substance abuse, and victim impact/ empathy development. The Facilitator/Practitioner also provides family counseling/coaching utilizing the framework of Functional Family Therapy. Furthermore, the Facilitator/ Practitioner provides some limited case management services with access to flex funds, working with family members and involved professionals to create a circle of support around young offenders.
