- The Stanford Home Counseling Center recognizes the immediacy of crisis situations and will schedule those appointments within 24 hours of the request.

Our Philosophy
The Stanford Home Counseling Center helps adults, adolescents and children build on their individual strenghths to overcome challenges that impact family relationships.We know that when faced with unexpected trauma, life changing events or even daily stressors, extra support may be needed. During these times, the Counseling Center is here to help.
For every client the connection with family is vital. Clients and their families are recognized as knowing themselves better than anyone. Input and participation from family members is encouraged. Families can take on many forms and are big, small, extended, nuclear, blended, multi-generational, with one parent, two parents, grandparents, and/or supportive community members.Our Services

Our clinical staff is comprised of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and supervised post–Master level interns and trainees. Our therapists have extensive experience working with both traditional and non–traditional families from a wide variety of economic and ethnic backgrounds. We are highly accomplished in helping clients develop the skills needed to cope with a variety of concerns, including:- relationship problems
