Stanford Home Therapeutic Behavioral Services

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) is a specialty mental health service for children and youth who need short-term support to prevent an out-of-home placement or transfer from an out-of-home placement to a higher level of placement. The program is one component in Stanford Home's commitment to prevent unnecessary residential placements, and to prevent unnecessary discharges to higher levels or care. TBS serves Medi-Cal beneficiaries being considered for placement in a group home at Rate Classification Level (RCL) 12 through 14. The program will also serve youth in similar circumstances in other environments.
